Andhra Pradesh Micro Irrigation Project (APMIP) implements the scheme for arranging Micro Irrigation systems in farmers fields with 90% subsidy for Small & Marginal Farmers (less than 5 Acres); 75% subsidy for Medium Farmers (more than 5 Acres to 10 Acres) and 60% for Big Farmers (> 10 Acres above). |

SC / ST farmers are eligible for 100% subsidy (who belongs to Small & Marginal Farmer category i.e., less than 5 Acres land holdings). |

The maximum monetary ceiling per farmer family is Rs.1,00,000/-. |

RKVY - OILPALM AREA EXPANSION PROGRAMME: |

Oil Palm Area Expansion Programme is implemented in District with convergence of APMIP. |
|
Under Special Oil Palm Area Expansion Programme, a target of 1500 Ha. for Micro Irrigation is allotted for the year 2011-12. Out of the above area, 46 Ha. were covered. The balance of target 1450 Ha. carry forwarded for the year 2012-13 with financial outlay of Rs.266.73 lakhs. |

For S.C. / S.T. farmers, a target of 204 bore wells with 50% subsidy subject to a maximum of Rs.50,000/- per borewell and with a financial outlay of Rs.102.00 lakhs and a subsidy of Rs.10,000/- for supply of electrical motor and pump set per borewell with a financial outlay of Rs.27.50 lakh is provided. |
